The Lady Badger basketball team ended the regular season on quite the high note on Tuesday night with a 54-23 win over rivals Burnet.This was absolutely one of the Lady Badgers’ best performances of the season.

The softball season is officially here. The Lady Badgers picked up their first win of the season Tuesday night with a 12-6 victory over Gatesville.Freshmen Gia Grasso and Hadlie Perry each hit a home run in the same inning in their official varsity debuts.

Last weekend, a group of Lampasas wrestlers competed at the regional tournament in DeSoto. Ultimately, one Badger did just enough to qualify for the state competition taking place today in Houston.Kaiden Fernandez fought his way to a fourth-place finish after battling back in the consolation rounds.

Tuesday night’s basketball game between Lampasas and Burnet in the Badger Den went the Badgers’ way early and often after they jumped out to a 21-5 lead in the first quarter and ultimately won 77-48.Lampasas now moves to 26-8 overall and 10-1 in district play.

Once again, the Lady Badger basketball team played the district-leading Salado Lady Eagles in a competitive game, but they couldn’t do enough to completely close the gap and lost 58-51.The Lady Badgers lost the first quarter 15-10, then lost the second 1410 to head into halftime down nine points.
