Badgers win first two spring basketball games

The Badger basketball team got back on the court for the first time in several months in the first two games of the three-week spring league. The league is being hosted in the Lampasas High School gym this month. The guys started with a game against Hamilton, and they won in dominant fashion.

Badgers’ summer football camp, SWAT coming soon

The Badgers will host a youth football camp May 15-17. Each day will run from 4-6 p.m. Students in first grade through fifth grade are eligible to register. Cost of the football camp is $35. Campers need a T-shirt, shorts, cleats or tennis shoes and sunscreen to participate.

Lady Badgers’ season ends with bi-district loss to Salado

The Lady Badgers had a three-game series lined up with the Salado Lady Eagles in the bi-district round of the playoffs. The games were moved around because of bad weather on Friday. The girls ended up playing a double-header in Salado on Saturday.

Head basketball coach Aaron Nuckles has announced that Lampasas will play host to a fourteam, three-week spring basketball league. Action started last night.
