Two talented teams met on Badger Field last Friday night, and the Badgers emerged victorious over the Wimberley Texans 3527 in a game that was the best so far this season.Lampasas players and coaching staff came into the game with a great plan, and they executed at a high level in the first half.

Lometa’s offense lit up the scoreboard in Rochelle on Friday, with running backs Lukas Smailus-Cruz and Stone Carr-Jones leading the way on the ground in a 72-38 Lometa victory.Smailus-Cruz and Carr-Jones combined for 444 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.

Volleyball team falls to Jarrell on the road

On Tuesday, the Lady Badger volleyball team traveled to Jarrell for their second district match of the season.Lampasas came up short, losing 14-25, 14-25, 21-25 to the Lady Cougars.The volleyball team is now 0-2 in district play.The Lady Badgers have a tough test ahead tonight when they host Burnet.
