For fans, former Badgers and just about everyone who isn’t playing or coaching in tonight’s game between Lampasas and Burnet, this matchup means a little more than a typical district game. But, the Badger team remains focused on the game in front of them regardless of the opponent.

Middle school football goes 3-1 against Brownwood

The Lampasas Middle School football teams won three of their four games against Brownwood last week.The seventh-grade B team improved its record to 4-0 with a 14-0 shutout win over the Lions.Clive Huckabee had a successful game rushing the football, finding the end zone first with a 35-yard run.

The Lady Badgers hit the road to take on district opponent Burnet on Tuesday night. They came up short against a tough opponent.Lampasas lost 9-25, 11-25, 10-25 in three sets.The team had one ace by Brylie Turner.

Tennis team loses to Vernon in area playoff round

The Lampasas tennis team traveled to Mineral Wells last Thursday to take on Vernon in the area round of the playoffs. The Badgers ran into a very tough opponent and couldn’t keep up in the long run, losing 12-3.

Volleyball team loses in four sets to Jarrell

The Lady Badger volleyball team competed with Jarrell last Friday and extended play into a four-set match. The final score was 7-25, 12-25, 25-23, 16-25.The Lady Badgers fought back and forth looking for their first district win of the season, but they seemed to run out of gas in the fourth set.
