Cross country has one of the shorter seasons among the fall sports, and it’s already starting to draw to a close. Lampasas hosted the annual Badger Invitational cross country meet this week for the varsity and junior varsity runners. The meet is the second-to-last competition before the Badgers host the district races on their home course at the 580 Sports Complex.
