Robert Michael Aaron Sr., 73, died on Jan. 6, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple.Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in Lampasas at 2 p.m. Jan. 11, with visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin

Brenda K Parmer Martin, 72, of Topsey, died at home on Dec. 22, 2024, after fighting an almost six-month recovery from injuries sustained from a horse-related accident while at home.Brenda was born in San Saba County on Jan. 8, 1952, to Filmore and Irene Odell Ivy Parmer.

Mr. Whitehead

Charles Glynn Whitehead, 82, died on Dec. 30, 2024.Visitation was held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Jan. 4, 2025. Graveside services followed at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa.Glynn was born on July 20, 1942, in San Saba.

Mr. Brown

Terry Wayne Brown, 69, of Temple died peacefully on Dec. 23, 2024 at Scott & White Medical Center, surrounded by his family.Terry was born to Harold and Eva Brown of Chilton, at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco on Sept. 3, 1955.Terry married Frances Wilson of Belton on Dec.

Mr. Ayers

Jessie James Ayers Jr. died peacefully on Dec. 25, 2024, at the age of 90. Heritage Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.Born Oct. 1, 1934, to Dorthy McKissick and Jessie James Ayers in Topsey. He lived a life marked by service, dedication and selflessness.

Mrs. Taylor

The family of Parthenia “Tena” Taylor has announced her death on Dec. 17, 2024 at the age of 70.Tena was born on April 13, 1954 in Lampasas. She was a dedicated nurse and loving family member, and will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and sense of humor.

Mrs. White

Joyce Marie White, 84, died on Dec. 21, 2024, at her home in Lampasas.Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Dec. 26 at 3 p.m., with visitation an hour prior.
