Wanda Darlene Forbes, 75, of Lampasas died on Sept. 8, 2022.

Memorial services will be held at First Street Church of Christ on Sept. 24 at 10 a.m., with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Wanda was born in Lampasas on June 11, 1947, to Edward and Ira Ola Goss Lewis. She grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School.

She had been a member of the Church of Christ since age 12.

Wanda lived in Lampasas most of her life, except for a short stint in Alaska from 1972-1975 while her husband was stationed there in the military.

She enjoyed water skiing, camping, arts and crafts, and volleyball. Wanda also was involved with the Boy Scouts through the First Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Boivin and Leroy Forbes Sr., and a brother, Weldon Lewis.

Survivors include her children Ronnie Boivin (Susan), Rhonda Boivin Arapis (Blake) and Randy Boivin; stepchildren Leroy L. Forbes Jr., Eric Forbes, Michael Forbes, David Forbes and Jeremy Forbes; grandchildren Britt Boivin, Dylan Boivin, Ashely Clark, Anthony Reyna, Aaron Reyna and Kelsey Boivin; step-granddaughter, Nicole Arapis; seven greatgrandchildren; brothers Waymon E. Lewis Sr. and Wendell E. Lewis Sr.; sisters Wynona D. Lewis-Mathews and Wylinda D. Lewis-Cook. Donations may be made in Wanda’s name to St.

Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Lampasas Animal Shelter.
