Kempner gets additional traffic signal

The Texas Department of Transportation installed and activated a new traffic signal Thursday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and FM 2808 in Kempner.

For now, the signal is programmed to flash yellow – meaning caution – for U.S. 190 lanes and red – meaning stop – for FM 2808 traffic. Message boards say the signal will be programmed to begin full operation March 11.
