In the first round of district, Lampasas buried Gatesville by halftime. On Tuesday, the Hornets led at halftime, and it was a much harder-earned win for the Badgers at 74-52.

Gatesville finished winless in district. Lampasas (4-3 in district, 18-4 overall) will host Brownwood Feb. 12 for the district finale, weather permitting.
