Lampasas man injured in collision with dump truck

A 76-year-old Lampasas man was seriously injured in a collision Friday morning when authorities said he made a U-turn in front of a dump truck. Texas DPS troopers responded to a major crash at 9:56 a.m. on U.S. Highway 190 about five miles west of Kempner in Lampasas County.

Fall Fest a hit in Lampasas County

About 300 people made their way to downtown Lampasas Saturday for the annual Fall Fest, hosted by the Courtyard Square Association. There was an array of vendors including artisans and locally grown plants.

October community events provide fun for kids, families

With the cooler weather in October, many community events are scheduled for area residents. The Lampasas Fall Fest is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the downtown courthouse square. The Courtyard Square Association sponsors this annual event. Plant, gardening and craft vendors will be available.
