Lonestar Social Services contract terminated

Lonestar Social Services, a foster and adoption agency that serves several Lampasas families, lost its contract with the state, effective June 15. Texas Department of Family and Protective Services officials issued a letter of termination to Dr.

Army veteran nears end of 1,000-mile journey to assist homeless servicemembers

An Army veteran has been traveling around the state on horseback in an effort to raise awareness about the plight of homeless veterans. His journey has created numerous connections throughout Texas. Jeremy Robinson spent seven years in the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2009.
