Lampasas City Council nominates LCAD candidates in split vote

The Lampasas City Council nominated several new faces to serve on the Lampasas Central Appraisal District Board, repealed juvenile curfews and reappointed members of city boards. Lampasas council members approved the nomination of five people to the LCAD board by majority vote on Monday evening.

Alamo Coffee receives variance for sale of beer

Alamo Coffee received a variance from the Lampasas City Council Monday night for the sale of beer at a future site on Key Avenue. The business, currently located at 301 South U.S. Highway 281, serves coffee, tea, energy drinks and smoothies.
