Defendant Lerone B. Skinner of Cedar Hill was given 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated for 10 years, on his charge of driving while intoxicated-third or more.

Richards sentenced on drug charge

A Harker Heights man entered a guilty plea Dec. 8 to a first-degree felony drug charge. His plea was entered in the 27th District Court of Lampasas County.
Darryl Thomas Richards, 56, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Commissioners Court OKs new septic rules

The Lampasas County Commissioners Court has approved three rules for on-site sewage facilities. These rule changes are to be reviewed by the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality.
