The Lampasas City Council has filled the vacancy created by the recent death of Councilman Chuck Williamson. Former mayoral candidate Myles Haider was selected to assume the post.

A retail construction project on North Key Avenue will house a new restaurant by 2025.General Contractors Silver Fox Construction are at work on the retail space at 310 N. Key Ave. that will house an HTeaO franchise.

The College for Kids Fashionista Design Course held a showcase July 20 at Central Texas College to celebrate budding talent by young students and the latest collection from fashion designer and CTC instructor Miriam Schenk.Schenk has more than 20 years in the fashion industry.
