Remodeling in the works

Chairs can be seen stacked outside the Country Kitchen as renovations to the Lampasas eatery continue. Since July 15, the restaurant has been closed so work can be done to improve the dining experience for customers. The Country Kitchen expects to reopen soon on Key Avenue.

Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings.Defendant Derick Logan Dayton of Lampasas entered a plea of true to a charge of assault on a family/household member-impede breath/circulation.
