Funeral set for Saturday at Lampasas Bible ChurchS.A. Baxter, a thirdgeneration rancher, died on Dec. 22, 2024, at his home. He was 93.A service to honor his life will be held at Lampasas Bible Church on Dec. 28 at 11 a.m., with visitation an hour prior.

Large Lampasas delegation attends Texas Farm Bureau Conference

The Lampasas County Farm Bureau delegation returned from the annual state conference held Dec. 6-8 in Round Rock at the Kalahari Resort Complex. The local members were among the more than 1,100 registered Texas Farm Bureau delegates from 149 counties who participated in the three-day meeting.
