City Council approves fiscal-year budget

With the end of September comes the start of autumn and the end of the city’s fiscal year.

FALL FESTIVALLampasas Methodist Church’s Fall Festival will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2 Alexander Lane. All activities have been moved indoors. Games, vendors and concessions will be offered, along with a small animal petting zoo.

Blessing of the Pets is Sunday

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will host its annual Blessing of the Pets on Sunday at noon on the church lawn at 501 S. Chestnut St. Local animal lovers are invited to participate. Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier. Blessings will be administered by the Rev. Bill Fowler.
