When balloting was complete in the May 7 Lampasas Independent School District trustee election, one race ended in a tie.
At a special called meeting on Thursday, the LISD Board of Trustees canvassed the election results.
Incumbent Jeff Rutland will continue to serve as the Place 4 trustee, as he received 1,104 votes and was unopposed for reelection.
