Lometa held its final budget workshop of 2022, as the city’s budget must be posted for 30 days prior to approval by the City Council.
City staff anticipates an increase in property tax revenue, though the proposed levy did not increase and will stay at a rate of $0.3227 per $100 valuation. An increase of more than $11,000 is expected in revenue, compared to the current budget.
