Local churches have been asked to help celebrate Constitution Day and America’s 250th anniversary by ringing their bells at 3 p.m. on Sept. 17. Those that have agreed to participate are St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, First Baptist Church, Lampasas Methodist Church and St. Mary Catholic Church.
Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel -- formerly the site of Central Christian Church -- also will ring its bell.
