Lampasas County 27th District Court convened recently with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings. These cases are moved to Dec. 4:
Arraignment of Kalvin Xavier Lohmann of Copperas Cove, on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Pretrial hearing for Storm Zachary Hamilton, listed as homeless, on a charge of credit card or debit card abuse. A waiver of arraignment was filed.
Pretrial hearing for Janelle Marie Masters of Lampasas. She faces one charge of credit card or debit card abuse involving an elderly person, one charge of credit card or debit card abuse, and one charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. A waiver of arraignment was filed for her on each charge.
Plea hearing with presentence investigation for Kristal Danielle Alderson of Lampasas, on one charge of abandon/endanger a child-criminal negligence and one charge of accident involving injury.
Pretrial hearing for Patrick Howard Martin of Lampasas, on a charge of aggravated assault causes serious bodily injury.
Sentencing for Billy Tate Shoaf of Gatesville, who faces two charges: theft of property over $2,500 and less than $30,000, and possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram.
Pretrial hearing for Jahvion Pierre Johnson of Harker Heights, on a charge of prostitution/other payor solicit a person less than 18 years of age.
Stephen James Denmon of Lampasas has a Dec. 11 pretrial hearing set on a charge of indecency with a child-sexual contact.

Pretrial hearings with presentence investigation for Jimmy Lee Wesson of Copperas Cove, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram and a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity. A waiver of arraignment was filed on each charge.
Wesson also has a Jan. 8 adjudication announcement scheduled on a charge of possession of a controlled substance over 4 grams and less than 200 grams.
Adjudication hearing for Elijah Blaine Brown of Kempner, on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.
Pretrial hearing with presentence investigation for Destiny Leann Pierce of Killeen, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance over 4 grams and less than 200 grams.
Pretrial hearing with presentence investigation for Dennis Martinez of Lampasas, on a charge of evading arrest/detention with a vehicle.
