Spring Ho Decorating Contest kicks off July 5

Courtyard Square Association once again will sponsor a Spring Ho Floor/Window Decorating Contest to promote the city’s biggest festival of the year.The 2024 Spring Ho theme is “Where we’re always glad you came.” It is a takeoff from the theme song of the popular 1980s sitcom “Cheers.

Clothing drive resumes

Saratoga Masonic Lodge #546 is holding a clothing drive from now through Sept. 20 to collect new or gently used clothing.Donations will be given to New Beginning of Restoration and Hope, a Lampasas-based non-profit community outreach organization.All clothing should be clean when donated.

The city of Lampasas is set to host a “Teen Scene” event, offering Lampasas County teenagers exclusive access to the Hanna Springs Swimming Pool on June 29.Teenagers between 13-17 years of age will be able to access the Hanna Springs pool from 7-9 p.m.The cost to attend the event is $5 per person.
