Texas AgriLife Extension will host a free Texas Prescribed Fire Field Day in Lampasas County on May 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lunch will be provided. Participants will help conduct a small prescribed burn (weather permitting) and learn how fire can improve rangeland health, reduce wildlife risk and manage brush encroachment.
