CTC to open College for Kids classes in Lampasas

Central Texas College (CTC) will host a series of classes aimed at youngsters age five and older through its College for Kids program. CTC has expanded its course schedule from last summer and has also teamed with the Lampasas County Higher Education Center (LCHEC) to offer more classes.

AdventHealth to Host Blood Drive Thursday

AdventHealth Rollins Brook will host a blood drive for Carter BloodCare on Thursday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donations will be collected in a Carter BloodCare bus located in front of the hospital. All donors will receive a BOGO Texas Rangers ticket voucher.

Janie Sue Morrison Brown Perkins of Naruna, McCreaville and Lampasas was born Nov. 16, 1931. She died peacefully at Lampasas Assisted Living Facility on May 5, 2021, at age 89. Graveside services will be held at Naruna Cemetery on May 10 at 2 p.m.
