Janie Sue Morrison Brown Perkins of Naruna, McCreaville and Lampasas was born Nov. 16, 1931. She died peacefully at Lampasas Assisted Living Facility on May 5, 2021, at age 89.
Graveside services will be held at Naruna Cemetery on May 10 at 2 p.m., with visitation to follow in the fellowship hall at Naruna Baptist Church. Sneed Funeral Chapel of Lampasas has charge of arrangements.
Janie was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie C. Brown, and by husbands Glynn C. Perkins and W.C. “Dub” Brown Jr.
Survivors include her children Kathy Smart and husband Terry, Terry Brown and wife Becky, Lisa Clay and husband Kelly, and Judy Holmes and husband Bert; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and countless other family members.
