Lady Badgers fall in tough match against Taylor

The Lady Badger volleyball team played a tight, three-set match against Taylor on Tuesday and came up just short, losing 23-25, 17-25, 17-25.This match marked the start of the second half of district play. The Lady Badgers are looking to pick up their first district win this season.

District schedule begins tonight against Brownwood

Girls’ cross country team qualifies for regional meet

Marble Falls High School was the site of the district cross country meet Tuesday morning, and the Lampasas boys’ and girls’ varsity teams raced for a chance to qualify for the regional meet in Huntsville later this month.

Tennis team wins bi-district playoff round over Decatur

The Lampasas tennis team traveled to Glen Rose on Tuesday to take on Decatur in the bidistrict playoff round and left with an 11-4 win.The Badgers have advanced to the area round, where they played Vernon on Thursday. Results were not available at press time.

The Lampasas tennis team picked up a win over Copperas Cove in a final practice match before the Badgers compete in the bi-district playoff round tonight.They picked up a 16-3 win over the Bulldogs.

Lometa suffers first loss of season, falls to Union Hill

Lometa had a tough time on both sides of the ball last Thursday, when the team lost 53-8 to the Union Hill Bulldogs. The Hornets move to 5-1 on the season. They struggled to move the football for the first time this season and had no answers for the potent Bulldog offense.Head coach D.T.
