Badgers close out non-district schedule with win over Lorena

The final non-district game of the season took place last Thursday, when the Badgers rebounded from their first loss and recorded a 24-13 win over the Lorena Leopards.The Badgers led 17-13 as the fourth quarter wound down.

Tennis team finishes second in district with win over Gatesville

The Lampasas tennis team ended the district season with a win Tuesday night, and the Badgers finished in second with only a close loss to Stephenville standing between them and a firstplace finish.

Golf teams play in first tournament of fall season

The Badger boys’ and girls’ golf teams competed last Friday and Saturday in the Fall Dinosaur Classic at Squaw Valley in Glen Rose.The Lady Badgers finished in second place with a team total of 341-355-696.Arianna Gonzalez placed third individually with rounds of 82-84-166.

Lady Badgers lose to Marble Falls and Salado over last week

The Lady Badger volleyball team has finished the first half of district play with matches against Marble Falls and Salado.Last Friday, the girls took on the Lady Mustangs and came up short, losing 20-25, 18-25, 18-25.

Cross country teams race at site of district meet

The varsity and junior varsity boys’ and girls’ cross country teams competed last week in Marble Falls at the Leo Manzano Invitational.The varsity boys ran in an extremely competitive 5A/6A division and came in eighth overall. Brayden Phillips was the best individual finisher for Lampasas.
