Tennis team loses to Vernon in area playoff round

The Lampasas tennis team traveled to Mineral Wells last Thursday to take on Vernon in the area round of the playoffs. The Badgers ran into a very tough opponent and couldn’t keep up in the long run, losing 12-3.

Volleyball team loses in four sets to Jarrell

The Lady Badger volleyball team competed with Jarrell last Friday and extended play into a four-set match. The final score was 7-25, 12-25, 25-23, 16-25.The Lady Badgers fought back and forth looking for their first district win of the season, but they seemed to run out of gas in the fourth set.

Every year, there is a gathering of people from the Lampasas community at Badger Field – and they are not there for a football game.The annual Fields of Faith event, sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night at the stadium.
