Badgers to face Pecos Thursday night in first round of the postseason

The Badger football team will head to Wall, Texas on Thursday for the bi-district round of the playoffs against the Pecos Eagles. The game will be played at 7 p.m.The Eagles finished their season 3-7 overall with a 1-2 record in District 3-4A Region I.

Girls’ basketball season underway with new leadership

The Lady Badger basketball season is officially underway, as the girls hit the road Tuesday night to take on Canyon Lake. Lampasas lost the opener 45-33.The team was led by Addison Borchardt with 13 points. She also grabbed 10 rebounds and had three steals.

Last week, a Lampasas cross country runner got his shot at competing in the state meet, and he finished right in the middle of the pack.Brayden Phillips placed 80th among the 160 runners at the state cross country meet in the final race of his high school career.

Middle school football teams dominate Marble Falls to finish season

The Lampasas Middle School football teams finished their seasons last week by outscoring Marble Falls 104-0, and the four teams finished with a combined record of 23-3-2.The seventh-grade 'A' team closed its season with a 35-0 win against Marble Falls.
