The Badger football team scored all its points and essentially put the game away in the first half of last Thursday’s bi-district playoff against Pecos.Lampasas walked away with a 53-14 victory over the Eagles, and all the damage was done in the first 24 minutes of the contest.

The Badger basketball team moved to 2-0 this season after earning a win over the China Spring Cougars on Saturday afternoon.The Badgers won 46-38 on the back of a doubledouble by Beau Patterson, who scored 16 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Boys’ basketball opens season with double-digit win

The Badger basketball team kicked off the regular season Tuesday night with a double-digit win over Eastside Memorial, taking the game at 56-40.

Kamryn Kothmann signed her letter of intent to play softball at Concordia University on Wednesday morning. The senior has made an impact on the Lady Badgers since her sophomore season. New head girls’ basketball coach Marcus Chapa picked up his first win at Lampasas in dramatic fashion when the Lady Badgers beat the Stephenville Honeybees 35-32 on Tuesday night.The Lady Badgers started a little shaky, and they trailed 17-9 after the first quarter.
