Players medal at junior varsity district tennis

The Lampasas junior varsity tennis team traveled to Marble Falls on Tuesday for the district tournament, and nine of the 12 players left the event with medals.Dacoda Fry won district in boys’ singles, and Juan Gomez-Henriquez took second after losing to Fry 7-3 in a tiebreaker.

At the district tennis tournament last week, the Badgers competed for a shot to qualify for the regional tournament. Two different doubles teams won district titles and will get another shot at the regional tournament.
