With two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Lady Badgers were trailing by one run when Madison Magilke stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded last Thursday.

Girls’ track athlete heading to state meet in Austin

There will be one Lampasas athlete heading to Austin for the state track meet. Teagan Reiss placed second in the 400-meter dash at the regional meet last weekend.The sophomore ran the race in 58.55 seconds in the finals after running a 55.47 in the prelims.

Girl’s golf team wins regional tournament

The Lady Badger golf team left Huntsville on Tuesday afternoon as the regional champions. The girls now move on to the state golf tournament at the end of this month.Lampasas finished the tournament with a team total of 712 strokes over the two-day event.

J.T. Posten plus one out recorded by Jonas Andersen resulted in a no-hitter for the Badger baseball team, as they picked up another win over Marble Falls last Friday.The 5-2 victory means Lampasas has secured the one-seed for the playoffs in Division I.
