Basketball team competes in home spring league

The Badger basketball team started playing in a spring league here in Lampasas last Tuesday, and they won their first two games.To kick things off, Lampasas beat Lago Vista 77-48.Three different Badgers scored in double figures, with Beau Patterson leading the way with 22 points.

Lady Badger breaks own record at state track meet

Sophomore Teagan Reiss placed ninth in the 400-meter dash at the state track meet in Austin last Thursday. She set her personal record and broke the school record again with a time of 58.36 seconds. Head coach Connie Hand had this to say: “Very proud of this young lady.

Lampasas tennis coach wins national tournament in Orlando

One of Lampasas High School’s graduates and former Badger athlete has achieved something pretty significant in the tennis world.Tennis coach Eric White won nationals in the 5.0 division in the annual tournament held in Orlando, Florida last month.

Junior high tennis team plays in home tournament

The Lampasas Middle School tennis teams hosted a tournament last weekend, and once against Jack Allison won the eighth-grade boys’ singles division. This marks his fourth firstplace finish this season.Allison beat a player from Mason 6-4 in the finals.

Lady Badger golf team finishes sixth at state tournament

The Lady Badger golf team placed sixth at the state golf tournament, held Monday and Tuesday this week.Lampasas posted scores of 335-354-689 to finish sixth in the 4A Girls State Golf Championship at The Legends Golf Club in Kingsland.
