The Badger baseball team has secured a spot in the playoffs after completing a two-game sweep of the Gateway Gators.Lampasas moved the Friday night game into the afternoon to avoid potential rainstorms headed into the area, but that didn’t stop the team from continuing its winning ways.

Softball team wins again over Marble Falls

The Lady Badger softball team won their second consecutive game on the road at Marble Falls last Friday night. They beat the Lady Mustangs 17-5 to improve their district record to 3-6 with three games remaining.The Lampasas girls showed what they are capable of with a 17-5 victory.

Lampasas track team wins district championship

The Lampasas track team traveled to Jarrell for the district track meet last Wednesday and Thursday. The Badgers emerged with many different area qualifiers, and the boys’ team are district champions.As a team, the Lampasas boys scored 153 points to secure the title.

Boys’ junior varsity golf dominates district tournament

The Lampasas junior varsity boys’ golf team won the district tournament last Wednesday. The Badgers were dominant, including three individuals who finished in the top three.The team had a total of 365 strokes to earn the district championship.
