Returning experience to lead the way for Lady Badgers this season

The Lady Badger basketball season is officially underway, as players have competed in their first scrimmage. That means it is time to take a look at the season ahead and what the program expects to accomplish in 2025-2026.Head coach Marcus Chapa is back for his second season at the helm.

Volleyball players honored at annual banquet

On Monday night, the players, coaches and parents involved with the Lady Badger volleyball program gathered at Putters & Gutters Fun Center for their annual banquet. Each player was acknowledged for her efforts, from the freshmen to the seniors who played their final varsity match.

Cross country runner finishes top 35 at the state meet

John Keyes, the lone Badger who qualified for the state cross country meet, ran his race last weekend in Round Rock and finished 33rd out of 152 runners, with a time of 16:27.

Badgers face win-or-go-home situation against Marble Falls

As the final regularseason game is on the horizon, the Badger football team must win to secure a playoff spot and guarantee their season continues past tonight.The Badgers will play host to the Marble Falls Mustangs tonight for the final home game of the season, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Boys’ and girls’ basketball seasons on the horizon in Lampasas

Next week will mark the official start to basketball season for both the Lady Badgers and the Badgers in 2025-2026.The girls’ team will hold their first scrimmage Nov. 4 here at home against Copperas Cove and Manor New Tech, while the boys will play their first scrimmage on Nov.
