Badgers take bi-district title

Kicker Zimri Vergara and the special teams unit had a busy night last Thursday when Lampasas took on San Angelo Lake View to open the high school postseason football competition. With the Badgers’ 52-14 victory, Vergara accounted for seven successful point-after attempts and one field goal.

Lady Badgers set to take on Brownwood

Kenedi Smart and the Lady Badger basketball team is hitting the road tonight to take on the Brownwood Lady Lions. The junior varsity game is set to start at 5 p.m., and the varsity will start around 6:30 p.m. The girls’ basketball team is currently 2-0 early on this season.

The boys’ basketball season officially tipped off Saturday morning when the Badgers played host to the Brownwood Lions and took their first win of the campaign.Lampasas won 85-42 over Brownwood.
