Basketball team wins dogfight over China Spring

In game number three of the season, the Badger basketball team officially was tested in a tough, four-quarter game against China Spring on Saturday. They came out on top at 53-48.In the first quarter, the Cougars hit a shot at the buzzer to take a 10-9 lead heading into the second quarter.

On Tuesday night, the Badger basketball team played its first road game of the season when they headed to Austin to match up with Eastside Memorial. The Badgers emerged as victors, 77-17.Lampasas jumped out to a 20-3 lead after the first quarter.

The Lady Badgers had a tough game Tuesday night, as they ran into a talented and fast Brownwood team that put them behind early and never looked back.Ultimately, Lampasas fell 66-35 in the contest.After the first quarter, the Lady Badgers were down 215.
