Former Badger baseball and football player Elijah Calderon received some unexpected news recently regarding his cancer diagnosis and will have to undergo aggressive chemotherapy for Stage 3 embryonal cell carcinoma in his lungs.

In the final game before Christmas, the Badger basketball team traveled to Georgetown to take on the Eagles and they came away with the win, 76-70.The Badgers started hot in this game and held a 19-12 lead after the first quarter.
