Soccer team goes 2-1 in first tournament of the season

The Badger soccer team played in its first tournament of the season last weekend in Gatesville. Lampasas went 2-1 in its three matches with a 2-1 loss to Waco Robinson, a 3-1 win over Waco Connally and a 1-0 win over Hillsboro.Against Robinson, the lone goal scorer was Jeremiah Canto.

Lampasas wrestler finishes seventh at massive tournament

Over the weekend, the Lampasas wrestling team competed at the Cy-Fair Invitational alongside 90 other teams.There was one big-time standout for the Badgers, as Kaiden Fernandez finished seventh after battling in a 68-team bracket, according to head coach Donovan Kleckner.

Lady Badgers win in dominant fashion over Florence

The Lady Badger basketball team returned to victory in the first action back from Christmas, as Lampasas beat Florence 66-20 on Tuesday.This was the girls’ first game back after the break, and they couldn’t have asked for things to go much better than they did.The Lady Badgers came out hot.

Badgers lose final non-district game to Cedar Park

The boys’ basketball nondistrict schedule came to a close Tuesday when the Badgers played the Cedar Park Wolves and lost a close game, 58-50.The Badgers came out strong in the first quarter and led 14-11 after the first eight minutes, but the Wolves would come back in the second quarter.
