Badgers hold on to beat Taylor, move to 2-0 in district

Tensions got very high down the stretch, as Calum Mitchell hit a free throw with less than a second left to ice the game and give the Badgers a 53-49 road win over the Taylor Ducks last Friday night.

Girls’ soccer goes 5-0, wins Cameron Yoe tournament

The Lady Badger soccer team had quite the weekend, as the girls brought home some hardware from the Cameron Yoe tournament where they emerged as champions.In the first game, the Lady Badgers were dominant against Holy Trinity, winning 8-0.

Lady Badgers win district opener over Taylor

Winning nine games in a row in any season and at any point during the season is a big accomplishment, but to win games the way the Lady Badgers have done it where the ninth game is the district opener on the road -- is very impressive.

Badgers win road game at Gateway; start 1-0 in district play

The Badger basketball team accomplished something the players hadn’t done in the four years the Gateway Gators have been in their district, as Lampasas beat the Gators 65-52 in Georgetown Tuesday night.

Lady Badgers close non-district schedule with win over Waco

The Lampasas girls’ basketball team continued its winning ways to close out the non-district schedule when they beat Waco High 51-39 on Tuesday night.The Lady Badgers struggled a bit out of the gate, as they fell behind 16-6 after the first quarter.

Boys’ soccer team wins over Copperas Cove

A hat trick by one of the Badgers was the catalyst for a 3-1 win over Copperas Cove for the Lampasas Badgers soccer team playing at home Tuesday night.Chris Mendoza bagged all three goals for the Badgers in the victory over the Conference 6A school.
