Badger basketball goes 2-2 at home tournament

The Lampasas boys’ basketball team played in its final tournament of the season which was hosted here at the high school and appropriately named “Holiday at the Creek.”Over the course of last weekend, the Badgers went 2-2 with wins over Canyon Lake and Henrietta on Thursday.

A former Badger football and baseball player is going through a battle with cancer less than a year after graduating.Eli Calderon was a multiyear letterman in both football and baseball and a four-year starter for the baseball team in Lampasas.

The Lady Badger basketball team picked up a dominant win over Llano on the road Tuesday night.Lampasas jumped out to an early 13-2 lead after the first quarter and never really looked back from that point.
