Badgers to send nine lifters to regional meet

The Badgers will have nine different lifters going in the regional powerlifting meet, include two alternates. Representing Lampasas are lifters Wilson Hammond, Kaeson Raub, Dominique Wooten, JJ Bowling, Weston Reid, Aden Rascoe and Shea Robinson. AJ Luna and Colin McManus qualified as alternates.

Lady Badgers pick up big win over Academy to continue playoff push

The Lady Badgers are making a push for fourth place in district and a playoff spot, as the soccer season comes to an end. An important element in qualifying for the playoffs was defeating the Academy Bees at home Tuesday night, which they accomplished with a 6-2 score.

Lady Badger golfers win Marble Falls tournament

The Lady Badgers went to Marble Falls in February for a golf tournament and left as the first-place team. They shot 728 over the two-day event -- 367 on the first day and 361 on the second day. Kylee Rutledge finished third individually.

Wrestler signs to compete at the next level

At the state wrestling meet held recently in Houston, something happened for the first time in Lampasas High School history. Brianna Miller became the first Lady Badger to win a wrestling match at the state competition. She went 1-2 overall at the meet and finished as the No.

Many Lady Badgers are all-district

The Lampasas Lady Badgers had a successful basketball season that ended in the bi-district playoff round. Many players received all-district honors. Freshman Addison Borchardt was named the district’s co-Newcomer of the Year.

Softball comes from behind to beat Ballinger

The Lady Badgers hosted the Ballinger Lady Bearcats on Tuesday night. Lampasas had to come back from a 2-0 deficit in the fourth inning to win 6-3. Harley Wakeman started the game in the circle for the Lady Badgers.

Soccer suffers loss to Academy

The Badgers gave up a goal in the last few minutes of the game Tuesday to lose 3-2 to the Academy Bees at home. Thomas Swilley scored on a corner kick from Keaton Black to give the Badgers a 2-1 lead in the second half, before the Bees were able to answer with two goals of their own.
