Tennis team competes at Vista Ridge tournament

The Badger tennis team traveled to the Vista Ridge area to play in a 23-team tournament last week. The competition was held across five different sites. Lampasas head coach Kenneth Peiser said this was a very competitive tournament. “I wanted the kids to see and play some good tennis,” he said.

Badgers finish second at Llano meet, Lady Badgers end up seventh

The Badgers and Lady Badgers traveled to Llano last Thursday to compete in the Jacket Relays. The Badgers came back with a second-place finish overall with 108.5 points. Boerne finished first with 139 points.

Lampasas soccer finishes season with a shutout win

The Badgers ended their soccer season on a high note with a shutout win over Florence in wild conditions. The temperature was around 30 degrees, and wind speeds were the harshest of the year, but the Badgers earned the 2-0 victory.

LMS girls track earns second at Llano meet

Baseball team struggles at Franklin tournament

The Badgers traveled to Franklin over the weekend for another baseball tournament, looking to turn things around with district play now here. Lampasas played four games in the tournament and did not come away with a win. The team started out against Little River Academy.

Girls’ soccer beats Florence to finish their season

The Lady Badger soccer team won 3-1 over Florence on the road in cold, windy conditions. Cobie Chandler had two goals in the game, and Nyla Long scored the third.

Powerlifting team finishes in top half of the region

The Lady Badgers competed in the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association regional meet in Dublin last week, and the team finished 11 th of the 25 teams. Two girls will advance to Corpus Christi to compete at the state meet March 18.
