Lampasas ISD adopts new budget, maintains tax rate

The Lampasas ISD Board of Trustees adopted the district’s 2025-2026 fiscal-year budget and tax rate of $1.0152 in a special called meeting on Aug. 25.

Morris announces run for county judge in 2026

Zachary Morris, a former Lampasas City Council member and owner of Morris Law P.C. on the courthouse square, is running for Lampasas County judge in 2026.Morris is the second candidate to formally announce an intention to run for the position.

Departing city manager given key to Lampasas
