Zachary Morris, a former Lampasas City Council member and owner of Morris Law P.C. on the courthouse square, is running for Lampasas County judge in 2026.
Morris is the second candidate to formally announce an intention to run for the position. Morris said he confirmed his decision after learning earlier this month County Judge Randy Hoyer is not seeking re-election.
