The Adamsville Volunteer Fire Department will have a new water tender by the end of 2025.In Monday’s Lampasas Commissioners Court meeting, court members agreed to pay $253,000 for the tender contingent on reimbursement from the Texas Forest Service.

Some 70 to 80 people turned out Tuesday morning for Lampasas’ annual Veterans Day ceremony at the county courthouse.In keeping with custom, the celebration took place at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Those key dates and time marked the anniversary of the Nov.
