KWSC shuts down system

The Kempner Water Supply Corporation has issued an alert warning customers their water meter will be turned off.  Due to leak in the transmission line off U.S. Highway 190, the KWSC is experiencing more water loss than expected.

Library serves as community hub for many patrons

As the summer activity at Lampasas Public Library slows down somewhat, staff are taking a break from events for the rest of July and looking ahead to a full fall schedule. “We’re just taking a break right now, taking a breath,” Library Director Shanda Subia said.

Lampasas ISD releases school supply list for 2023-24

With the first day of the 2023-24 school year scheduled for Aug. 10, parents soon will begin the task of purchasing school supplies for their students. Supplies can be brought on the first day of school, or the items may be brought to campus on Meet the Teacher Night, scheduled Aug.
