Lampasas Community Garden receives LCRA grant

The Lampasas Community Garden has received a grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority totaling $12,359. A ceremony was held Wednesday for the presentation.

Human remains found at Briggs

Burnet County Sheriff’s Office authorities issued a statement Thursday afternoon regarding human remains found in a wooded area in Briggs on Nov. 4. BCSO officials said deputies were dispatched to a property near the Briggs community “in response to a citizen report of possible human remains.
