The Lampasas County Museum will charge $15 this year for tickets to the Holiday Tour of Homes, its annual fundraiser. The Dispatch Record was given an incorrect price previously.
The tour will take place Dec. 3 from 1-5 p.m. Five locations will be featured this year.

City advertises camping sites for 2024 total solar eclipse event

The city of Lampasas has begun advertising camping venues for the April 8 solar eclipse event. The city will open up two public parks for camping two days prior to the eclipse, as well as for viewing the celestial event.

LHS students to begin tiny home construction

Lampasas High School students in the construction technology program are set to begin building the first of two tiny home projects this month.
LHS has received some trusses and concrete blocks to begin laying the foundations for the tiny homes.
