Residents share their favorite Christmas traditions

Whether it be watching the movie “A Christmas Story” on Christmas Day, setting the house and front yard ablaze with holiday lights, or just focusing on time with family, every family has its own Christmas traditions. Christmas cheer was in full swing during Saturday’s Carol of Lights festivities.

Parade marshal leads downtown procession

Lometa police chief placed on leave

Lometa city officials confirmed Friday the police chief has been put on administrative leave. Lometa Police Chief Melissa Cantu has been put on paid administrative leave as of the Nov. 13 City Council meeting.

W.M. Brook Park to be transformed for Christmas on the Creek

The Christmas on the Creek committee has been hard at work gearing up for its annual event that transforms W.M. Brook Park into a winter wonderland full of holiday cheer and festive activities. Christmas on the Creek is planned for Dec. 9 from 5-8 p.m.
