Student exhibits champion steer at FFA show

Lometa High School sophomore Kari Greiner was named the 2023 grand champion steer exhibitor at the Lometa Stock Show. Greiner also earned the senior showmanship distinction in Saturday’s competition.

KWSC completes quick main line leak repair

At 9:03 a.m. the Kempner Water supply Corp. issues an alert to customers warning of a six-inch main line leak on County Road 3150 affecting all of Lampasas River Place. About an hour later at 9:58 a.m, the water supplier revealed the leak had been repaired.
